Hello there! 잘 지냈어? (How are you?) I have been from a veeeeeerryyyy very long hiatus and I decided to come back. I am now a full-fledged doctor and I am currently working as one, in a nearby hospital. How have you been? As continuation from our first Korean Reading Exercise , I would like to present to you another batch of Korean words that you can try practicing on! Are you ready to practice your Korean? If you want to reinforce your knowledge about reading Hangul, you may proceed to this post on how to read and write Hangul to refresh your mind! From now on, our reading (and writing) exercises will feature a specific theme so as to make things easier to read and understand! For this Korean reading exercise, we will feature one of Korea's highlights - their food. Let's read, read, read Korean!! Review: God of Study

As a learner of the Korean language, one can definitely learn the language through watching Korean drama series. I've started watching Korean drama through "My Girlfriend is a Gumiho", which is recommended by a friend. After watching the series, I started watching series too, watching one after after another.


What I can say is I don't like love-themed drama that much, and I am grateful that there are still Korean dramas which do not include the topic love that much. I get to learn Korean culture through Dong Yi and Dae Jang Geum, as well as the Korean alphabet system through "The Deep Rooted Tree." One of my favorites is school themed, and you can learn how strict the Koreans are when it comes to learning. It's entitled "God of Study" or 공부의 신.


"God of Study" is a story about how Attorney Seok-ho Kang was able to change five of the lazy students of Byeong Moon High School from lazy students to very brilliant ones. He did it for he is one crappy student himself when he attended the same school. Together with Han Soo-jung, an English teacher, Attorney Kang is aimed to send Hwang Baek Hyun, Gil Pul Ip, Na Hyun Jung, Hong Chan Doo, and Oh Bong Goo to the most prestigious university in Korea, the Chun-ha University.

In this drama, several studying styles are introduced, including those which make Mathematics, English and Science easier to learn. This is a kind of drama that might uplift the spirits of the students at present, who can relate to the situations of those students. Watching this one may help them aim towards being a successful student.

Will they be able to reach their goal?

Score: I would give it a score of 9/10. Story is really great, no dull scenes, and a very realistic storyline.

    I think this would be a good movie for students so they can be aware on the different study methods. Great story line always for koreanovela.

    First the director made the story into love story. But what happened in the middle.you director should have made the love story more.theh should have confessed their love story.if not what director created a Love atmosphere between them.it really sucks......I really loved this drama at the beginning but later it very sick to watch.
